Check the pool before the quote conversation
You do not need to diagnose the pool yourself. You just need to notice the right things. Walk the shallow end, steps, benches, corners, waterline, and any spots that feel different underfoot. Look for roughness, flakes, pits, chips, dark patches, rust-looking marks, exposed aggregate, hollow sounds, or areas that seem to collect dirt no matter how often you brush.
Write down when you first noticed the issue, whether it is spreading, and whether chemistry changes helped. If the pool was recently drained, acid washed, patched, or remodeled, mention it. If you bought the home and do not know the finish age, say that too.
Do not overcomplicate the first step
The form only needs your name, email, phone, city, and a short description. If photos are needed, they can be requested after someone starts the conversation. Lower friction matters. The goal is to get from uncertainty to a useful next step.
